An SUV carrying eight people swerved to miss another vehicle and overturned on Tuesday leaving three people hospitalized with serious injuries, the Georgia State Patrol reported.
The driver, a 35-year-old Clarkston man, was taken to Barrow Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Other serious injuries were reportedly sustained by an 18-year-old who was transported by life-flight to Grady Memorial Hospital and an 18-year-old who was taken to Athens Regional Medical Center.
