YES, HMMS lead local school CRCT results

Yargo Elementary School and Haymon-Morris Middle School led local school results in 5th and 8th Grade CRCT testing this year.

Winder-Barrow Middle School also posted strong results in the 8th Grade testing except for Math where the school had a very high failure rate.
The worst Barrow County results were at Holsenbeck Elementary School and Auburn Elementary School for the 5th Grade and at Russell Middle School, which had the worst 8th Grade results.

Individual school results were released Wednesday by the state.

I could care less about that CRCT! This is a standardized test and all kids are not on the same learning scale. Some learn faster than others and some struggle more than others. I had a fifth grade teacher tell me that you are supposed to teach a child where they are at not where they should be.
