Auburn City Council to discuss Sunday package sales Thursday

The Auburn City Council will review the possibility of Sunday package sales at its monthly workshop meeting in the council chambers Thursday at 7 p.m.

The council also plans to go into closed session to discuss the acquisition of property.

Additional items on Thursday night’s agenda include:

• photo contest winners of the Armed Forces Day Parade and Celebration
• update Parks Mill and additional expense
• Sue Lane stormwater project
• Governor’s Ridge stormwater project
• revised job descriptions
• health and wellness grant
• the closing of William Street
• the Gazebo Arbor
• renewal of a contract with Building Inspection Services
• revised fees for the board of appeals and variances
• side walk design for 4th Avenue and Mt. Moriah Road
• offsite computer services
• computer donation agreement with Auburn Library
• alcohol ordinance for on premises consumption
• Phillips State Prison contract
• i9 Sports proposal
