The Winder Police Department is looking for witnesses to a daylight robbery that occurred on June 2 at approximately 3:30 p.m. just off Hwy. 11 on Corinth Church Road in Winder.
The victims are a male and a female, both of Middle Eastern-descent, who were driving a burgundy Toyota Corolla along Hwy. 11 South when they were bumped by an older model Ford Crown Victoria. The Crown Victoria is light gray or possibly even white with extremely dark tinted windows and may have had a Florida license plate.
Two black males and one white male exited the Crown Victoria wearing tan stockings on their heads and physically attacked the male driver of the Corolla. The suspects then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from both occupants of the victim’s vehicle.
The details of the incident are vague at this time. Police are asking any motorists or pedestrians that may have been in the area during the time of the robbery to come forward if they saw anything fitting this description.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. John Blocker at the Winder Police Department at (770) 867-2156.
More information will be released as soon as it becomes available
