The final public hearing for the city’s Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH) redevelopment plan is tonight at 7 p.m. in city hall.
Should the council approve the plan, the city would be available for state, federal and local grants and low-interest loans in the six areas leaders have deemed either underdeveloped or in need of renovation.
In addition to the redevelopment plan, the council will vote on:
• a taser purchase for the Auburn Police Department
• an American Craft Week Proclamation
