Barrow County Sheriffs’ Investigators arrested Lewis Alexander Hicks, 39, of Americus and Jeffrey Samuel Rich, 35, of Snellville Wednesday in connection with an ongoing undercover investigation involving online sexual predators.
An undercover Barrow County Sheriff’s Investigator, posing as a 14-year-old female, chatted with Hicks online for several months until Hicks sent pictures of his genitalia to the officer. On May 25, Barrow officers traveled to Hicks’s location in Albany and made the arrest. Hicks is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes; and two counts in violation of the computer pornography child exploitation act.
A second undercover Barrow County investigator, assigned from the Statham Police Department, chatted with Jeffrey Rich online for several days until Rich exposed himself via webcam to the officer. The suspect thought he was sending nude video of himself to another 14-year-old female. On May 25, Rich came to Statham to meet the female with the intent to have sexual relations with her. He was arrested by members of the crime task force without incident. Rich is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and violation of the computer pornography child exploitation act.

Got to agree with Jack. I'd help pay for new rope so it will hold them good. Right now, I am trying to convince my neice in Illinois to NOT give me her personal information on Facebook. I've told her to call me or to give it to me in a private email. There are too many creeps out there looking for young children.

Damn Jack, this is the first time I agree with you. It is bitter sweet though! Crime is what it is because the punishment does not fit the crime. We are scared to punish anybody. You hear all this crap about what it costs to house and feed a prisoner. What does it cost us for the criminal to walk the street?

take Chester and Chester Jr. out to the BCSO shooting range next time you find an explosive device and conduct some field research to help reduce soilder death overseas. that is a double Win for me, beneficial reasearch, and I dont have to pay taxes to house them.
