Barrow County High School Summer Programs announced

Winder-Barrow High (WBHS) and Apalachee High (AHS) will offer summer school programs from May 27-June 30 for students to recover or accrue credit. Review programs are offered for summer administration of the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT).

GHSGT preparation dates vary at each high school. Detailed information about summer school programs will be communicated to applicable students.

If interested, contact Jean McIntosh (WBHS) or Dorann Mansberger (AHS) for additional information.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students at no cost. Both schools will participate in the “Summer Nutrition Program.”

Breakfast will be served from 7:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m. Lunch will be served from 10:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. beginning on May 27– June 30 on Mondays – Thursdays only.

Summer school will not be in session on May 30th. Children 18 years of age and younger may receive meals at no cost at either high school location.
