Auburn to host Earth Day Cleanup May 6-7

The city of Auburn will host an Earth Day 2011 Cleanup on Friday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Containers will be set up behind City Hall for collections.

The following will be accepted:

• Batteries
• Motor oil
• Scrap metal
• Electronics
• Cell phones
• Ink cartridges
• Old cameras/radios
• Eye glasses (for Lion’s Club)
• Junk- includes anything unwanted, usable or not
• Tires (reimbursement cost of $2 to $5 per tire)
