Twenty-two cases were resolved in Barrow County Superior Court recently with the following sentences:
•Richard A. Webb, abuse of an elder person, battery family violence, simple assault family violence: five years probation, no contact with victim(s) and a $1,000 fine.
•Brian Christopher, aggravated assault, theft by shoplifting, battery: ten years probation, no contact with victim(s), complete Residential Substance Abuse Treatment, a fine of $1,000 and restitution in an amount to be determined.
•Matthew Deon Faush, robbery by intimidation: three years confinement, 17 years probation, no contact with victim, a $1,000 fine and restitution in the amount of $476.88.
•Matthew Deon Faush, aggravated assault family violence, battery family violence, simple battery family violence, reckless conduct: one – three years confinement, 17 years probation, no contact with victim(s) and a $1,500 fine.
•Justin Adkins, two counts participating in criminal gang activity, first degree forgery, entering auto, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud: ten years probation, no contact with gang members and co-defendants, no contact with victim(s) for 12 months, a fine of $10,000 and restitution in the amount of $165.
•William Jordan Johnson, two counts participating in criminal gang activity, financial transaction card fraud: 10 years probation, no contact with gang members and co-defendants, no contact with victim(s) for 12 months, a fine of $10,000 and restitution in the amount of $165.
•Terae Marjorie Thomas, two counts reckless conduct: 12 months probation, no violent contact with victim(s), complete parenting classes and a $500 fine.
•Ernest Joe Russell, disorderly conduct, obstruction of officers, giving false information to law enforcement officer: 45 days confinement, 12 months probation and a $1,500 fine.
•Joseph Corbett Fitzgerald, DUI – less safe: 12 months probation, 60 hours community service and a $1,000 fine.
•Martha A. Hensley, five counts contributing to the delinquency of a minor: 12 months probation and a $1,000 fine.
•Priscilla Butterweck, possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects, weaving over roadway: ten years probation with credit for time already served and a $1,500 fine with credit for monies already paid.
•Curtis Lawson, driving while license suspended, tail light violation: ten days confinement, 12 months probation and a $500 fine.
•Frederick Clifton Libbey, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass: 12 months probation, no violent contact with victim(s) and a $500 fine.
•Jeremy Cardin, theft by conversion of property: 12 months probation, a $300 fine and restitution in the amount of $349.95.
•Marquize Maurice Jackson, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of park: 12 months probation and a $500 fine.
•Marquize Maurice Jackson, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of government property, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of drug related object, criminal trespass: 12 months probation and a $500 fine.
•Marquize Maurice Jackson, possession of marijuana less than one ounce: 12 months probation and a $500 fine.
•Christopher William Martin, simple battery family violence: 12 months probation and no violent contact with victim(s) and a $500 fine.
•Antrice Hill, simple battery family violence, disorderly conduct: 12 months probation, no violent contact with victim(s) and a $500 fine.
•Ezra Luray Swinton, theft by shoplifting, obstruction of law enforcement officer: one – two years confinement, one – eight years probation, no contact with victim(s), a $1,000 fine, completion of Moral Reconation Therapy and do not return to any Wal-Mart store in Georgia.
•Amanda Braatz, theft by shoplifting, first degree forgery, giving false information to law enforcement officer: one year confinement, nine years probation, no contact with victim(s), competion of Moral Reconation Therapy, a $2,000 fine, restitution in an amount to be determined and do not return to Winder Wal-Mart.
•Natalie Shawn Gilmer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of dihydrocodeine, entering auto, four counts financial transaction card theft, two counts theft by taking, driving without a license, possession of alprazalam, possession of carisoprodol, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, driving under the influence of drugs, failure to maintain lane, operation of vehicle with cracked windshield, license to be carried and exhibited on demand: one year confinement, 15 years probation, complete substance abuse treatment, fines of $5,000 and restitution in the amount of $479.
