Bethlehem man killed in wreck

A 24-year-old Bethlehem man was killed Tuesday, March 22, in a motorcycle accident on Mount Moriah Road in Auburn, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

Michael Sewell was driving a 2006 Honda CBR600RR south of Boulder Stone Way when he left a curve, traveled into a ditch and hit a culvert.

He was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he later died, according to a press release.

There were no other vehicles or passengers involved in the accident, and alcohol and speed do not appear to be contributing factors in the wreck. The investigation is continuing.
