Altercation between brothers included firewood throwing

Other incidents being investigated by the Auburn Police Department Include:

•On Summer Ridge Lane a man said that a woman has been stalking and harassing him. The man claims the woman, whom he used to live with, has shown up at his work with some of his belongings.

•A fraud report on Seventh Street. A nurse reported a patient had phoned the office and attempted to impersonate a doctor. The nurse claims the man gave a false number when asked for the number to his office. The man was trying to obtain a prescription for oxycodone.

•A burglary on Main Street. A woman went to the Auburn Police Department and filed a report saying her house was burglarized. The woman said she was in jail for a couple nights and when she returned home some of her belongings were missing. The woman claims she was missing two cell phones and four DVDs.

•On Carter Road, a man phoned police and asked to be taken to jail to serve the remainder of his probation. The man had been told in the past that calling 911 without an emergency could cause him to be arrested. The man was told to speak with his probation officer about serving time in detention.

•Damage to property on Mount Moriah Road. A woman reported someone hit her trash can and scattered trash all over her driveway. A neighbor said she heard a loud noise that sounded like a car crash. The trash company reportedly later replaced the trash can.
