Theatre group donates funds to Barrow museum

The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre recently presented a $100 check to the Barrow County Museum as part of the theatre group’s ongoing program of donating a part of the ticket sales of each play to a local nonprofit group.

The Barrow County Historical Society operates the Barrow County Museum, and the donated money will be used for the facility. Visitors to the Colleen O. Williams Theater inside the Winder Cultural Arts Center have enjoyed the pictures on the walls, which came from the museum. The group thanked Beth Barton for labeling the photos so that everyone can read more about the history of Winder and Barrow County while attending events at the Cultural Arts Center.
