On Dec. 6, Officers from the Auburn Police Department were dispatched to Quail Valley Road in reference to a dispute.
While leaving the police department, officers were approached by a man, who was involved in the dispute they were dispatched to.
He explained to officers that a friend of his, Alicia Shook, came to his house and asked if she and her boyfriend could spend the night.
When he said “no,”Shook began to get angry and refused to leave the house.
The man then got angry and went to his mother’s house in order to give Shook a chance to leave, but when he returned Shook was still there.
He then explained that he began walking to Shook’s residence in order to wake her father and explain her actions. Shook then ran out of the house and began allegedly attacking him, jumping on his back and trying to punch him.
He then went back inside, and then a friend of his drove him to the police station. He explained that Shook returned home, but not before stealing beer from his residence.
Officers spoke with the man’s friend who confirmed the entire story.
Officers then drove to 147 Quail Valley in order to speak with Shook.
Shook explained that she was at the man’s home and was angry because he owed her money.
While speaking with Shook, officers noticed a strong presence of alcohol on her breath. It was earlier reported that Shook had a bottle of vodka with her during the confrontation.
Officers asked Shook if she would consent to a breath test and she agreed. After discovering that Shook had been drinking, officers asked if she still had the bottle of vodka, and she told them yes, that it was in her room. Officers ordered her to bring it to them, and when it took her a significant amount of time, asked if there was anything else they needed to know about. She was ordered back to her room followed by the APD officers. Shook admitted to having three beers she had taken from the man’s home.
When asked again if she had anything else, Shook got angry and began yelling at the Officers “so you are going to search my room, I have Xanax and weed in the room,” she said.
Officers found a glass pipe with burnt residue and four yellow pills believed to be Xanax.
Shook was placed under arrest for minor in possession, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.
