At Hair Gallery in Winder, “giving back to the communi-ty,” is more than just a phrase — it’s a series of offerings to help those struggling with unemployment and tough economic times look their best, while also offering incentives to help others for clients who are doing okay.
“The community is the backbone of our business,” said new owner and Winder native Shannon Walden. “When hard times hit, a business has to step up and do something to help out. That is why we are offering our Step Up Program to provide free grooming services to people who are unemployed and have been called for an interview.”
