On Nov. 27, Auburn Police Department officers responded to a burglary call on Timberridge Lane.
Officers met with the homeowner who claims someone stole a gaming console and a game from her bedroom while her children were in the living room.
Officers spoke with a young witness who claimed the dogs began barking and staring at the bedroom.
When the child opened the door he noticed a tall white male wearing dark clothing exiting through the window.
The witness claims he immediately closed and locked the window, but did not get a good look at the man’s face.
The homeowner believes the description matches that of her eldest son, who no longer lives with her.
Upon investigation officers found a gaming headset outside in the bushes.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Other incidents being investigated by the Auburn Police include:
•A homeowner’s mailbox was damaged on Heritage Way.
•A man claims someone came onto his property and cut down trees on Etheridge Road.
