On Nov. 22, Barrow County Sheriff officers responded to a residence on Worth Court in response to shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival officers met with three women who claim they heard multiple shots in the area.
One witness claimed a woman in the house began screaming as a bullet traveled through her wall and into her bedroom.
After investigating the house the bullet was found near a dresser in the bedroom. It had entered the north side of the house through the wall and hit a handle on the woman’s dresser before falling to the ground.
There were also children asleep on the other side of the house in another room.
Backup was called in order to take crime scene photos of the bullet and its trajectory.
Officers searched multiple times around the house for suspicious activity or any shell casings.
When nothing was found officers left the area.
The residents claim they have no problems with any of the neighbors in the area.
Other incidents being investigated by the BCSO include:
•An abandoned vehicle was found on Austin Reynolds Road.

The issue has nothing to do with guns and everything to do with some idiot. The same idiot could have ran someone over with a car, or any number of other scenarios that have nothing to do with firearms but are just as deadly.
