Barrow County sheriff’s officers responded to a burglary report on Beau Court.
When the deputies, arrived the homeowner explained that when he returned home for his lunch break he noticed all three of his bedrooms had been gone through. BCSO deputies were able to locate broken glass below a bedroom window and thought this was the possible entrance by the suspect.
Upon further inspection of the residence, officers noticed that many expensive electronics in the living room and other rooms were left untouched.
The residents of the home then explained that several pieces of antique jewelry seem to have been missing from a jewelry box in their bedroom.
After searching outside the home, officers located a small gate that led to woods behind the house. This was thought to be the subject’s most likely entry point.
Statements were given by neighbors and homeowners, but no arrests were made.
