VFW celebration set for Nov. 10

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1187, located at 73 Lee Street adjacent to the National Guard Armory, will be conducting an informal Marine Corps 235th celebration at the post home Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 12 noon – 2 p.m.

All present, past and retired Marines, as well as members of the community, are welcome to attend. The reading of the messages and cake cutting will begin at noon and refreshments will follow until 2 p.m.
