RMS band holding fruit sale

The Russell Middle School Band will be holding its annual citrus fruit sale through Nov. 19.

The band will be taking orders for Indian River pink grapefruit, navel oranges, tangelos, juice oranges, Red Delicious apples, D’Anjou pears and several variety packs ranging in price from $10 – $40.

The fruit will be delivered on Saturday, Dec.11. The money generated by this fund raiser will provide needed equipment, music and technology updates, as well as awards and incentives throughout the year for our band students,” said band director Jerry Pharr. “It is important that we have a successful sale and we really appreciate the support of the community.”
