As of Oct. 15, 1,372 Barrow County voters had cast early ballots for the November election.
Barrow County Elections supervisor Katie Ferm said her department has also mailed 786 absentee ballots with 382 returned so far.
On Monday, voting was moved to the commission meeting room. Ferm said the last two weeks of early voting will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in that location.
Early voting for the Nov. 2 general election began Monday, Sept. 20 and ends on Friday, Oct. 29 in all Georgia counties.
The last day to request an absentee ballot is also Friday, Oct. 29. Completed absentee ballot applications may be mailed to the Barrow County Board of Elections and Registration, 233 E. Broad Street, Winder, Ga. 30680 or faxed to 770-307-1054.

Completed absentee ballots must be received by the voter’s county elections office by the close of polls on Election Day.
