Two wrecks snarl traffic on Hwy. 211

Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies were called to two wrecks Wednesday morning near the intersection of Hwy. 211 and Barrow Park Drive.

Both accidents occurred at 422 Atlanta Highway just east of Barrow Park Drive.

Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said both accidents happened as drivers were waiting to turn left into an apartment complex.

No one was injured in the first accident, Smith said.

That wreck had just been cleared when the second accident occurred. Smith said a passenger in one of the involved vehicles was transported to the hospital after complaining of minor back pain.

The site of the accidents was just outside the construction zone for the new turn lane at Barrow Park Drive and Hwy. 211, Smith said.

Sheriff,has been a busy man.wrecks here and there.Gun robbery in Statham .School Bus getting hit.Then dealing with trying to change Halloween on the kids.Stick with these issue and let the parents deal with Halloween.
