so not only are they cashing in at the court house they make money if they lock you up.
and if you need a court apointed lawyer they only get paid if they lose or make you a deal with the state then the court adds the lawyer fees into your fine. If you win the lawyer doesnt get paid by the state. Who's side do you think they are on?
Its all about the money!!!!!!!
NO JUSTICE!!!!
Justice left at the end of the 80's
Now law officals dont care about the truth is about how much they can make you pay.
Next do you really think after many years of college and law school, a lawyer would take a job that only pays if you loose. If you are going to post specific information, I think you should post the link to the website where you read it. Otherwise keep your uneducated opinions to yourself. If you think the justice system is all about money; call the probation office and ask how much money they actually collect from probationers.
and my info comes right from the henry co. court law office of lister and holt.
look up the number and verify it your self.
and that is how it works. no pay to win.
my info. comes from experience!!!
i just didnt make this sh@# up!!
WOW!! No wonder this small town has so many DUI..
this is safe haven for the drunks...!
I guess you are saying...hey, justice is free for me, so I'll take lots of that kind of justice! Who cares about public safety, recidivism, drug dealing, child molesting and murdering...it is FREE!
So when you see "...successful completion of intensive probation and alcohol and drug treatment...." they have been put into the program.
IT WORKS!
It may seem like a slap on the wrist, and an easy out but it's not. It is far CHEAPER to REHABILITATE than to SUPPORT them in the prison for most if not all of their lives. Personally, I want them out there working and contributing to society rather than sitting behind bars sponging off my tax dollars.
