Winder woman stalked while shopping at Walmart
A Winder woman called authorities after noticing a man following her through Walmart.
The woman said she was shopping when she noticed a white male wearing an American Waste and Recycling shirt following her. According to the woman, every time she walked down an aisle, the man would follow her.
When the woman asked the male for his name, he identified himself as John George. The woman continued shopping and noticed the male was still following her. While the woman was in the photo center, a store employee informed her that the male had taken a picture of her using his cell phone.
The male also followed the woman when she exited Walmart. The woman said the male left the store on a black and silver motorcycle and provided the responding deputy with a tag number which returned to a Statham man.
The woman said she has never met the male before, but has seen him inside Walmart on previous occasions. Though the woman suspected the male had followed her at other times, she had not reported him.
The case status is listed as unfounded.

Unfounded means there was not enough evidence to warrant crime. It is not against the law to take a photo of someone or follow them around unless you tell them to stop, then it is harrasment.
