Woman gets high before meeting with probation officer

Holly Diane Crowe, 27, of 2352 Hwy. 82 in Statham, had a scheduled visit with her probation officer on Monday, Sept. 13.

When Crowe arrived, the probation officer noticed that Crowe appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. The probation officer informed Crowe that she needed to submit to a urine drug test.

After Crowe admitted taking Xanax, the officer asked for consent to search her purse. Inside the purse were two pill bottles. One of the pill bottles contained four different types of pills including four aspirins, one Cialis pill, four Viagra pills and 46 Adderall pills.

Crowe was charged with having drugs not in their original container. She was transported to the Barrow County Detention Center to be housed until her court date.
