Senior expo ahead Sept. 22

The Northeast Georgia Senior Providers Network will hold its Spring Senior Expo on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Classic Center in downtown Athens.

“We’ve had great response to these events over the past couple of years, and we are happy to provide a one-stop shopping opportunity for older adults and caregivers to learn about services for their special population here in our region,” said Kathy Ahlberg of Hospice Advantage. “There are so many people who provide wonderful services and support for our seniors, and we want to connect them with the people who can benefit the most from those services.”

Admission to and parking at the expo are free. The event will feature more than 50 exhibitors.

Custom Mobility will provide a complimentary shuttle from The Classic Center parking deck on Foundry Street to the front entrance of the facility on Thomas Street.
