Pre-K slots still available in Barrow

To be eligible, students must be at least four-years-old and a resident of Georgia.

Parents are encouraged to consider the child’s date of birth, physical maturity, emotional maturity and prior experiences when making the decision to enroll the child in the Pre-K program at age four or five.

The school readiness goals of the pre-k program provide appropriate preschool experiences emphasizing growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts, physical development and social and emotional competence.

The pre-k program was also designed to provide every Georgia pre-kindergarten student with a quality classroom experience based on standards, curriculum, environment and teacher training.
