The Winder Cultural Arts Center will be offering a six week improvisation class with actor, mime, juggler, magician and clown Tom Pierce beginning on Sept. 14.
Pierce, a member of the Screen Actors Guild, studied Theatre and Mime at Florida State University. He has performed and taught classes and workshops in schools, theaters and festivals throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He is also in his tenth year as a clown with the Big Apple Circus Clown Care at two hospitals in Atlanta.
Classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from Sept. 14 through Oct. 19 at the Winder Cultural Arts Center, located at 105 East Athens Street in Winder.
The cost of the six-week class is $85. The minimum number of students required for this class is ten and the maximum is 16. Students must be 16 years or older.
