A Winder man is dead after a grocery store robbery in Cumming.
David Casto, 37, of Winder, was working as a security guard at the Ingles store on Canton Road when three masked gunmen entered the store Sunday evening.
Casto, along with a male and female employee, were bound with duct tape and placed in the store cooler. No customers were inside the store at the time.

My heart goes out to this family. Now the company he worked for is trying to blame him for his own death because he was not allowed to carry a weapon. What good is a security guard without a gun? Kinda like a baker without an oven. The security company has done really well in letting everyone know that their employees who work at Ingles don't have weapons now. Beware Ingles, you are a sitting target for future crimes now. You need to fire your security firm.
