Stormwater committee meeting tomorrow

A committee of the Winder City Council is meeting at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, to begin work on a proposed ordinance to set a new storm water tax on city properties.

This is the first meeting of the committee, which is chaired by Councilman Ridley Parrish and includes Frank Dunagan and Sonny Morris as members.

In addition to the proposed ordinance, the committee will discuss a request by Realtor Wayne Bartlett to amend the city's fee structure for tap-on fees.

The meeting will be held at the Winder Community Center and is open to the public.
