What a shyster lawsuit. Harrison is named because they have deep pockets. The last thing these shysters want is a trial. They want endless discovery, followed by a settlement. Lord how this country needs tort reform.

Mabey they should be more focused on the driver of the truck than the company itself and stop going after the company just because of money .

Well Oliver Wendell Holmes do you have inside information about this case that none of the rest of us do? If so, please explain why this lawsuit is a sham. If don't have inside info or a vested interest in this case why open your pie hole in the first place.

Perhaps because a simple review of any court's docket will show that most law suits like this one are filed by people who want to make a quick buck from the deepest pockets? If we had a loser-pays-costs-and-fees system in this country, suits like this one would be GREATLY reduced.

The burden of proof is on the plaintiffs, in case you didn't know. And, since the suit was just filed, the plaintiff's shysters don't possess tangible evidence that proves that Harrison was negligent when it comes to the truck and/or driver. The merely alleges that Harrison did something wrong. The point being that the plaintiff's shysters are just fishing for jackpot justice by going after the Deep Pockets. That's how it's done, son. Here endeth the lesson in American jurisprudence.

Do YOU have a vested interest? Or, are you one of the imbecile jurors who just likes to sock it to big, rich corporations out of commie envy?

Sometimes an accident is just an accident. I think that we as a people are so quick to sue anybody for anything that happens to us. I feel for the driver of the truck who has to live the rest of his life knowing that he accidently took the life of two men. How sad for everyone involved. I wonder, what exactly happened that a maintenance issue would cause such an accident?

I think people shouldnt judge others until they know the whole story. What you dont know is that three men died in that wreck not two and a woman was severly injured and left with life altering injuries. which is not mentioned in the article. So please dont judge until you here the whole story. So forgive me if I dont feel sorry for the driver who caused this.At least he can still talk to his family, unlike the three that lost thier lives...

The entire situation is bad, yes lives were lost, and that is very sad. If Harrisons wasnt keeping their trucks up to safety standards, they should be held responsible,That is part of running a company and poor supervision on their part. My husband is a driver for another company and they pride themselves on safety.I am well aware of the dangers on the road he faces daily, and felt for all who were involved when this happened. But being on the highways are dangerous for all of us, its very unfortunate, an i agree the drivers life is forever changed in ways we cant imagine i am sure. I believe everything happens for a reason, only god and the people involved can see the reasons for which this tragedy happened.
