Stolen subdivision sign discarded with trash
A sign stolen earlier this month from the entrance of Ashley Oaks subdivision was recovered last week when it was dumped on the property of a Baskins Circle resident.
The man called police after seeing a white Dodge Dakota pickup truck pull behind his home. The man saw two white males exit the vehicle and begin unloading trash from the truck.
When the man shouted at the two males, they drove away. The man began looking through the trash and discovered the Ashley Oaks subdivision sign in the midst of the debris. The man noticed the sign had been damaged beyond repair.
The man did not recognize the two males, but provided authorities with a description of the suspects.
