Barrow County GOP BBQ set for August 21

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under are admitted free of charge. Take-outs will be available.

Tickets may be purchased at HomeLand Realty located at 147 W. Athens St. in Winder or by calling 770-867-5748. Tickets may also be purchased by emailing chairman@barrowgop.org.

Retiring U.S. Rep. John Linder will be a guest speaker and many of the statewide Republican nominees have been invited to speak as well. The new 7th Congressional District nominee will be present along with the Republican nominees for the State Senate 47 race and other local races.

The event will feature music, door prizes, a contest, rally speakers and food catered by Shane’s Rib Shack of Winder.

Sponsorships are still available. Reagan level sponsorships are $500 and include a reserved table and 10 tickets. Lincoln level sponsorships are $250 and include a reserved table and six tickets.
