Auburn police were called to Honeysuckle Terrace after a homeowner discovered several water filled condoms on his property.
The condoms were thrown in his driveway and around his mailbox. The responding officer noted that four other houses also had water filled condoms in the driveways and around the mailboxes.
Other incidents investigated by Auburn Police include:
•found property on Honeysuckle Terrace. A homeowner found a knife in the roadway at the end of her driveway.
•Damage to city vehicle on Carter Road. An officer backed into another patrol car when leaving a call.
•welfare check on Oak Ridge. A woman fell down a set of stairs and struck her head. The woman said she was having difficulty walking. While the officer was at the scene, the woman went into a seizure. The officer rendered first aid until paramedics arrived.
•criminal trespass on Longford Court. A realtor discovered a home had been entered and vandalized.
•theft by taking on Mount Moriah Road. A man reported his backpack blower had been stolen from his ex-wife’s house.
•lost or mislaid property on Countyline-Auburn Road. Police were asked to take custody of a wallet and cell phone a patient had dropped in an ambulance.
•damage to mailboxes on Wynfield Drive. A woman ran over two mailboxes and left the scene. A witness was able to identify the vehicle and the woman was subsequently cited for failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions, expired registration and failure to notify owner after striking fixture.
Auburn Police also reported three arrests during the past week: •Charles David Allen, 22, 526 Harris Drive, Bethlehem, entering auto.
•Joshua Darryl Franklin, 21, 201 Mount Moriah Road, Auburn, party to the crime of entering auto.
•David Lightsey, 54, 79 Church Street, Winder, probation violation.
