Dear Editor:
I come to you as a humble man but I’m angry.

I’m not angry at all with Obama. What? Yes, that’s right, I’m not mad at him.

I’m mad at you the American people who put him there. I’m mad at the fact no one cares about our history and how this country was founded. I’m mad at the schools systems for not teaching true history.

You sit there with your steak and lobster and smile at the taste. Is that wine good too? It makes me mad no one trusts the republic but wants to trust the same government that has every intention of implementing socialism in this country and you think its a joke.

What do you want? Socialism or liberty? The choice is yours. We must pay attention to what’s happening around us and stop pretending it’s not real. You see it all the time in other countries. What makes you think it won’t happen here?

Patriots unite and learn your history of this great place we call America. Do we lie down or stand up and say “HELL NO!!?”

Make our founding fathers proud and ask the pledge of allegiance be said in every school. Be proud to say your American and stop this progressive movement. A wise man named James Madison once said “A well instructed people can be permanently free.” Listen to that and ponder.

Socialism didn't start with Obama. Socialism started with Medicare, Medicare, Social Security Retirement, Government Disability .....

The womb to tomb entitlements MUST STOP!!! Get a darn job you lazy people. Have some pride. Get the satifaction of a job well done. I agree it is not Obama's fault ... it is ours. We have let the entitlements catch up with us and add up to more that half the national debt. PEOPLE LET'S TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY!! The TEA party tried and got washed aside as anti-entitlements so the lazy people want vote for them. When, where and how do we stop this Socialism? Look at the countries that has Socialism ... they are failing now and so will we if we continue in that direction.

This is a very vague rant. If Obamacare is a problem for you think about the working people who can't get needed medical coverage because they have preexisting conditions. Market forces have created a "market" where access to medical care is determined on whether you hold a job AND your employer provides insurance. If you're self employed or work for a small business you can't get coverage. Without coverage you have no access to health care. Both the Democrat and Republican parties are to blame for this but the Democrats are taking a small step in fixing it. We may not like the step they're taking but it's better than relying on the medical and insurance establishments.

It was the Republicans who removed regulation of the financial markets leading to the recession you currently enjoy. How is that good? Do you like that so many people can't get jobs?

I'm politically conservative. I think our taxes are too high and our government is doing things that aren't in the citizens' interest. It is apparent, however, that letting the financial, insurance, and medical establishments rape our country isn't a viable option and that's what the Republican party seems to want to do.

No one in america is denied medical care .If you dont have insurance and need to go to the hospital, guess what you can, without obama care.If the cost of insurance continues to climb I myself am seriosly considering dropping coverage.When I go to the hospital, I will be seen sooner, and get the same care than those that are paying.Our current system pennalizes those who do try and do the right thing and obama care will just hurt us all that much more.

My husband broke his foot last Oct. He drove himself to Barrow Regional. Because he was working outside he was dressed accordingly and quite frankly was dirty.

The hospital assumed he was a dialect without insurance. All the doctor wanted to do was wrap the foot and give him pain meds.

Only after the doctor realized that he had insurance and was simply someone who had been working outside did he treat my husband with respect.

The difference in the treatment was polar opposites. Night and day. From wrap and give him pain meds to get an x-ray, cast it, schedule a follow up with xxx, and PT.

So Jack Legg, get out your high horse, and walk in the trench's for a change.

Im sorry, did you say that they wrapped his leg and gave him pain meds? Hello? that is called medical care,they cant and didnt turn him away.Maybe its not the same medical care one gets with insurance but medical care it is and if he had needed to be admitted then he would have been.

Perhaps you meant “derelict” - 1 : abandoned, especially by the owner or occupant (rundown) or 2 : lacking a sense of duty

Regardless, good ole’ Insane Hussein Obama is going to provide even the “derelicts” with plenty of socialized medicine…

90% of the people posting their words of wisdom don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" or "its" and "it's," so your suggestion of proofreading doesn't address the root problem.

Why can't you get coverage if you are self employed, we did it for years, sold our busy, and are still buying our own coverage, I not saying it is cheap, but it is it there, for the buying.
Where does it say it is the government's job to supply it?

Have you looked at the prices charged for medical care? Yes, you do have access w/o insurance but it is prohibitively expensive. How would you pay the costs for say, a heart attack or cancer?

Do you know what it costs for simple blood tests that a diabetic needs?

No, you won't get quicker service simply because you're paying instead of an insurance company. You may be passed from one hospital to another because you don't have insurance.

Chuck you are no conservative, your moderate at best. But that's besides the point. Just like Jack Legg says this obamacare rewards those who are lazy and punishes those who work. Is it my fault that there are folks who don't have insurance? Nope so why do I have to pay for theirs? How is that fair to me?

BTW the deregulation is not so much to blame for the recession as the housing burst, which was caused by Bill Clinton (Democrat)by forcing Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac to approve home loans to folks who could not afford them.

Also, if you recall the moves to deregulate the markets caused the DOW to peak at more than 14,000 (which BTW has never happend before) and for the 1st 6 years G.W. Bush was in office the DOW averaged just shy of 12,000. The last 2 years was a steady decline up to the burst. Now do you know the differance between the first 6 years and the last 2? Well, the last 2 years we had a Democrat controlled senate and congress.

Oh yeah lets talk ObamaCare. He played both sides of the road. He told us it want start to 2014. Well if you have not noticed your insurance has gone up this year by 24% and it will climb each year until 2014. He did this on purpose to let them adjust their policies where they want them before ObamaCare starts. If he wanted to hold down insurance he should have started it that day it passed and that would have held down costs. Take a real close look at who gave him money. It was the auto industry, medical industry and the oil industry. He lies out BOTH sides of his big eared head.
