GAINESVILLE – Murl Clay Garoutte, 92, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Born in Lawrence County, Mo., he was the son of the late Walker and Anna Clay (Fugitt) Garoutte. He owned and operated a feed mill in Marionvile, Mo. and was of the Methodist denomination. Mr. Garoutte was preceded in death by his wife, Lucinda Jane (Rickman) Garoutte.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Mike Freeman; grandchildren, Melissa Carroll, Gainesville, and Mark Garoutte, California; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Marionville, Mo. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Memorial Park South Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, is in charge of arrangements.
