An Auburn man called police after a date arranged over the Internet took a turn for the worse.
Internet date ends badly for Auburn man
The man said he and his date, Jacquelin A. Alarcon, 43, of 1834 Northwoods Lake Court in Duluth, met on an Internet dating site. The two agreed to meet at his house for their first date.
Once Alarcon arrived, she began popping pills according to her would-be suitor. Alarcon reportedly told her date that the pills were for her bipolar disorder and her pain problems.
The man said Alarcon soon became intoxicated from the narcotics and “got out of hand.”
The officer attempted to interview Alarcon to obtain her side of the story, but Alarcon became irate and began yelling at all of the officers at the scene.
The officers located a bag of pills inAlarcon’s possession. After checking the labels, the officers determined that Alarcon had ingested more than the prescribed amount. During the investigation, Alarcon continued to yell and be disruptive despite being asked several times to remain silent.
Police also interviewed a neighbor who said he had been awakened by Alarcon’s yelling.
After having Alarcon checked by paramedics, an officer placed Alarcon under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported her to the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
