High visibility street number signs now available

The blue signs are designed to assist public safety personnel in quickly identifying a house or business in the event of an emergency.

The signs, which are available for $15 each, can be purchased online at www.barrowfire.com. Post and hardware are included.

“Being able to order their signs online is one more way that we are improving our customer service,” said website designer and manager Lt.Richard Carignan. “As we continue improving this website, there will be more and more reasons for citizens to log on regularly to see all that this great department offers.”

Sign orders may be picked up at department’s new headquarters located at 222 Pleasant Hill Church Road. Please allow three to five business days for order completion.

“We would hope that every citizen has their address numbers at the side of the road to make it faster for us to find them,” Carignan said. “When seconds count having the blue road sign can make a big difference.”
