Residents of an Auburn neighborhood attended the July 1 city council meeting to ask for increased police patrols to deal with unruly teens who are spending the summer nights roaming the streets and causing trouble.
Former city councilman Charles Sewell and his brother, Ray, along with a woman who lives in the Heritage Way subdivision, said the teens have been going out after midnight, partying in a vacant house, and trespassing on private properties.
Last week, the youths vandalized the entrance to the subdivision by painting profanity on an entrance sign.

I don't live in Auburn but we have the same problem with juvenile delinquents where I live. Hard to get the police to do anything about them. The law abiding property owner is ignored.
