The Barrow Preservation Society, Inc. is currently seeking new members to help the organization with its mission of protecting the historic resources of Barrow County.
The society, founded in 2009, focuses on a wide range of activities, programs and partnerships to preserve the past for the future.
Several annual membership levels are available. Student memberships are available for $35 a year. Individual memberships cost $50 annually and family memberships (two adults and all minors at the same address) are $100 each year.
The 2010 founding membership is available for $250 while the founding lifetime membership rate is $500. Founding and lifetime memberships include two adult at the same address. Founding members may upgrade to a lifetime membership by paying the total rate within a 12-month period.
Funds support programs and activities such as the society’s Old House Workshops, Focus on Barrow photography contest, public awareness programs in our county schools and the Barrow Preservation Society Quarterly newsletter.
