The suspect in the shootings, 42-year-old James Bush, is hospitalized under 24-hour surveillance by deputies from the Barrow County Sheriff's Office.
Bush is charged with murder and felony murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Antonio Zavala, age 30. The charges stem from a June 29 incident at 311 Woodview Drive in Auburn. Investigators believe the incident may have been domestic in nature.
Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Woodview Drive address just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Zavala dead in a vehicle at the scene. The two injured males, Lopez Narvaez, 31, and Alvaro Zavala Echevarria, 35, were found in the front yard of the residence. Both males were transported to area hospitals and are listed in stable condition.

I heard all the police sirens, but at the time didn't have a clue
that was going on. Kinda scary that it happened so close to where we live.
