The first “Rhythm, Rock and Relay” will be held June 18 featuring the “Honey Do” Auction.
The Chastain-style fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life will be at the Winder Community Center from 7 p.m. to midnight with Grains of Sand featured as live entertainment.
The cost is $25 per person. Those attending should bring their own food and soft drinks. A cash bar will be available (no outside alcohol will be allowed).
There is no reserved seating. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for table and seat selection.
Each ticket holder’s name will go in a drawing for Eternity Diamond earrings donated by Evans Jewel Box of Winder. You must be present to win. A silent auction and extra raffle tickets will be on hand at the dance.
Among the Honey-Dos on the auction block will be Foster Saunders giving golf lessons and Barrow County sheriff Jud Smith offering shooting lessons.
