Students attend leadership summit

The students, members of Student Council at each high school, attended six sessions throughout the day-long event.

The sessions focused on teaching students leadership skills that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional careers.

Students enjoyed a Chick-Fil-A lunch and participated in games and raffles throughout the day. Council members also had the opportunity to network with their Gwinnett County peers.

According to Jessica Rehberg, language arts teacher and student council advisor at AHS, the conference was beneficial to the students in many ways. Both the advisors and principals enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the upcoming school year with the student leaders.
