The Piedmont Regional Library in Winder has scheduled several children’s programs for the summer months. The programs are designed for preschool and elementary aged children and their parents.
The Summer Reading program began June 5 with a visit from the Nickelodeon cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants.
The “Make a Splash!” summer reading program continues June 10 at 10:30 a.m. with storyteller Josie Bailey.
Other upcoming programs include:
• June 17 - Makin’ Music with Ian Canalis
• June 24 - Movie and Popcorn (feature presentation Finding Nemo)
• July 1 - Magician Ken Scott
• July 8 – Magical storyteller Chad Crews
• July 15 - Ventriloquist/magician Keith Karnok
All programs begin at 11 a.m. The programs are free and open to the public.
