Statham Police were dispatched to the McCarty Mobile Home Park on June 5 after a tree fell during the early morning hours.
No one was injured, but a vehicle and a service pole at one residence sustained minor damage after being struck by the tree.
Police are also investigating two thefts which occurred on June 5. A Coleman camper was stolen from a Hammond Road residence and a weed eater was taken from a home on Providence Road.
On June 3, Statham Police were called to a Railroad Street business in response to a report of criminal trespass. The only other incident reported during the past week was a 911 hang up call on June 5 at a Second Street location.
Statham Police made three arrests last week. John Silvey Harben, 19, of 117 Bessie Lusk Drive in Canton, was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after a June 5 traffic stop.
Tyrone Vernon Hall, 50, of 162 Capital Avenue in Winder, was arrested on June 4 for violation of Georgia’s controlled substances act, possession of cocaine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, probation violation and giving false information to a law enforcement officer.
Betty Lynn Phillips, 27, of 2078 Broad Street in Statham, was charged June 6 with DUI, seatbelt violation, driving without license on person and child endangerment.
One traffic accident was reported during the past week. Two vehicles were involved in a minor accident on Memorial Day in the parking lot of a business on Atlanta Hwy. There were no injuries.
For the week, Statham officers issued five citations and two warnings.
