The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre production of “On Golden Pond” will close on Sunday, May 23. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. with the Sunday matinee at 3p.m.
Due to mature dialogue which includes some profanity, the Winder-Barrow Community Theatre does not recommend this show for younger teens and children.
Tickets are now on sale. Credit and debit card orders can be placed by calling Winder City Hall at 770-867-3106. Check and cash orders can be made at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance office located at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679).
Tickets purchased in advance are $12.50 for adults and $10 for seniors (55 and older), teachers and students.
A part of each ticket cost will be donated to the Adult Day Care Center in Winder. The Center is located at 63 Lee Street and serves adults who have a variety of mental, physical and cognitive disorders. The center offers a therapeutic activity program, nutritious meals, medical monitoring and physical and occupational therapy. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The center’s home delivered meals program currently serves 45 residents of Barrow County.
