Money, bullets discovered after noise complaint
Deputies were dispatched to a Kay Drive residence in response to a complaint of loud music coming from the home.
When deputies arrived, they discovered the garage door open and loud music coming from inside the home. Upon reaching the front door, one of the deputies noticed that the window blinds were broken and hanging off the window. Through the window, the deputy could see a broken light and several items strewn across the floor including pornographic videos, pills and men’s clothing.
After knocking on the door several times in an attempt to make contact with the homeowner, a deputy entered the garage. There were numerous 9mm bullets on the floor and items scattered throughout the garage. After turning down the stereo, the deputy realized a stereo was also playing inside the home.
The deputies then went to the back of the residence and looked in the kitchen window. The window blinds in the kitchen were also broken and the deputies could see several liquor bottles and $100 bills scattered throughout the kitchen.
The deputies returned to the garage and discovered the door leading to the interior of the house was unsecured. The deputies entered the home to make sure no one was injured, but found no one inside.
After turning down the stereo so that it would not disturb the neighbors, the deputies gathered the money in order to put in into evidence for safekeeping. In total, the deputies collected $1,001.
The whereabouts of the homeowner are unknown.

This is border line fourth admin. rights violation. No emergency = time to get a warrant.
How much more can the public stand from this sheriff????
The facts did not justify a deputy going into a private residence with out a warrant. Why did they? The door was unlocked? the house was messy (in their opinon)? That darn pesky 4th Admin. again.
Not slamming evey Law Enforcment officer in Barrow Co., but this seems to be becoming the norm here. They do what they like and if some one objects they say "but what if".
And to answer your question, No. I do not want any officer of the law on my land nor inside my home with out a warrant. This is why I gave a locked gate and front door. I expect the same officers who swore an oath to protect our rights to uphold them.
