AHS and WBHS holding fundraisers

Apalachee High School and Winder Barrow High School in connection with Ford Motor Company will be hosting in a “Drive One 4UR School” fundraiser on Tuesday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For every person who takes a Ford vehicle on a free test drive, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the school of your choice up to a total of $6,000. Last year, both schools earned $3,000.

Participants can also register to win a Gateway LT netbook. Test drivers must be at least 18 year of age and have a valid driver’s license.

The test drive events will take place at Apalachee High School, located at 940 Haymon Morris Road, and Winder Barrow High School, 272 North Fifth Avenue in Winder.
