Winder police were called to a Sunset Drive residence after a father reported disturbing behavior by one of his daughter’s friends.
According to the father, his daughter had spent the day with three males of questionable character. When the father said he did not wish his daughter to consort with the three men, one of the males became very angry at the man and threatened to “kick his ass.”
The three males left without any physical confrontation taking place, but returned a short time later in a red Honda. The father said the male who had threatened him was surfing on the hood of the car and making threats as the car passed the residence. At one point, the male fell off the car and landed on the pavement. The male then apologized for his earlier behavior and suggested that he and the father “shake hands like a man.”
The male and his two friends then left the area. The father said he was concerned that his daughter was keeping company with such men and said he was trying to get her back on the “right track.”
According to the police report, the father mentioned that his daughter had used marijuana in the past. Upon hearing that drug usage was a concern, two of the officers present requested permission to search the daughter’s bedroom and the bedroom of another daughter.
“Approval was given and the rooms were searched,” one officer wrote. No contraband was discovered during the search.
No charges were filed in the incident.

Like all AMERICANS they do in fact have RIGHTS. YOU and any AMERICAN should fear a search conducted without judicial over site. The FOURTH Amendment was placed for a reason, as were ALL of the Amendments... We have much to fear from the government. Just ask those that were victimized by WPD and BCSO under the guise of looking for a "bad man"
