ABC-PAL planning Globetrotter fundraiser

Have you ever dreamed of taking the court with the Harlem Globetrotters?

The Auburn-Barrow County Police Athletic League (PAL) is offering 20 area residents the chance to challenge the world-renowned Harlem Globetrotters.

The first 20 interested players who donate $200 or more will have the opportunity to play in the March 5, 2011 event.

Event organizer Deedra Wagner said team slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The donation will also include a VIP dinner with the Globetrotters.
