Barrow Regional sponsoring photo contest

Barrow County residents and local hospital associates are invited to compete in the photo contest for submitting the best photo of the community or the hospital facility. Photos must be submitted by May 31.

“At Barrow Regional Medical Center, we thought this would be a great way for local residents and employees to share their creativity by showcasing the wonderful and unique places in and around our community,” said Srav Meka, director of marketing and business development for the hospital.

The two categories for submission are “Community” and “Facility.”

The community category invites photos of the scenes and settings, the landscape and architecture, and natural resources that make Barrow County special.

Participants will also be eligible to win in the facility category. Any photographs that feature Barrow Regional Medical Center are also eligible for the sub-category.
Winners will be announced in each category with one grand prize winner for the community category receiving $1,000.

Two first place winners in the community category will be awarded $500 each and two second place winners will receive $100 each. The facility category will award $100 to each winner.
